Then you may be interested in reading this BBC NEWS story.Red meat link to breast cancers.

Hi Sue,
I just discovered your blog and love it. I am a health promoter and am actually working on a project addressing modifiable risk factors for breast cancer in young women ages 16-20 especially heavy drinking, lack of physical activity and unhealthy eating patterns. The Canadian Breast Cancer Network are partners in the project along with Parent Action on Drugs, the Nutrition Resource Centre and the Physical Activity Resource Centre. No one from U of Guelph though, so I should check that connection out. Will check out the red meat thing too.
I'll be coming back often to see what else you have discovered.
Thanks for the good work!
