"Far, far too many people are getting cancer –
and the numbers are increasing. This should not be happening.
*It is not right that children and young adults should be getting cancer.
*It is not right that women should be dying from breast cancer in their 30s, 40s and 50s, long before their time or that so many men should be fighting prostate cancer.
*It is not right that our bodies should be contaminated with so many carcinogens, and that nobody in government seems to care.
The search for a cure is obviously important, but it also receives a lot of attention and funding.
Our purpose is to build and sustain a Canada-wide movement that will generate the resolve and the actions required to eliminate the preventable causes of cancer.
